There isn't an actual error here. using python -v means start python in a verbose mode. If you want the "version" use capital V or --version. An excerpt from python --help:

-v : verbose (trace import statements); also PYTHONVERBOSE=x can be supplied multiple times to increase verbosity

-V : print the Python version number and exit (also --version)

-q : don't print version and copyright messages on interactive startup

there's no error here and you have nothing to fix. -v is verbose flag.

   -v Print a message each time a module is initialized, showing the place (filename or
          built-in module) from which it is loaded. When given twice, print a message for each
          file that is checked for when searching for a module. Also provides information on
          module cleanup at exit.

This isn''t an error. It is how python interactive startup looks if you use the "verbose" option.

but when i type python3 -V it dont show up the version of python3 installed

$ python3 -V
Python 3.4.0
$ python3 --version
Python 3.4.0

so is there no way to get reed of this message it throws up, which didnt use to occur when i use the same command

$ python3 -V Python 2.6.9 $ python3 --version Python 2.6.9

$ python -V Python 2.7.6 $ python --version Python 2.7.6

when i have python 3.4.3 installed........ it only works properlly if am in a virtual enviroment

also my python IDLE wont start up again
