Treehouse Moderator 68,390 PointsThere isn't an actual error here. using python -v means start python in a verbose mode. If you want the "version" use capital V or --version. An excerpt from python --help:
-v : verbose (trace import statements); also PYTHONVERBOSE=x can be supplied multiple times to increase verbosity
-V : print the Python version number and exit (also --version)
-q : don't print version and copyright messages on interactive startup

Courses Plus Student 26,867 Pointsthere's no error here and you have nothing to fix. -v is verbose flag.
-v Print a message each time a module is initialized, showing the place (filename or built-in module) from which it is loaded. When given twice, print a message for each file that is checked for when searching for a module. Also provides information on module cleanup at exit.
