querying 2 names?

I am querying 2 names from a database. In the users table we have the columns id, username, password, first_name and last_name. Find all users with either the last name "Hinkley" or "Pettit"

My code is: SELECT * FROM users WHERE last_name = "Hinkley" OR "Pettit"; but I am getting an error message - I can't work out what I'm doing wrong, any help please to a newbie on her first day of sql training?

I think you only miss a second last_name, like this:

SELECT * FROM users WHERE last_name = "Hinkley" OR last_name = "Pettit"
