question on object oriented programming

I have recently finished the track on object oriented programming for python and understand the basic concepts now. But..that’s it.. I understand how OOP is organized but when actually trying to start a project I feel stuck and don't know what class to actually create.

I was wondering if anyone can take me through the thought process a developer would take in order to break up and idea or concept into actual classes for OOP.

Is there a certain process or "best practice" that you follow to decide which classes to create?

Object oriented programiming is the basic. There are other principles too search for them such as SOLID, DRY, KISS. And after you get master in the upper mentioned move to design patterns
