JavaScript JavaScript Foundations Strings Methods

Quick length code challenge

JIm keeps asking us to update the quickLength line of code but every time I do it just says "bumme!, was expecting 43"

What am I doing wrong? Jim's course in JS is driving me nuts. Thanks!

Modify the variable quickLength to hold the length of quick.

var quickLength = quick.length;

are you just looking for the solution to the first question?

he's asking you to find the length of the variable quick so

      var quick = "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog";
      var quickLength = quick.length;

Mozilla MDN is usually pretty helpful for explanations on methods: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/String/length
