Quick question, need help or advice!!!!!

Hi, I am currently on the Front End developer track and I was just wondering if I should just do each subject in order? For example from the "How to make a Website" to "CSS basics".

Also how do you guys/girls do it? After you finish one topic do you do a review/practice before moving to the next?

Hi Alex Lee,

Quick answer! I would go through in order. The teachers will order them in a way that is easiest and most efficient to learn. As a self taught front end developer myself, I learnt by inspecting code on websites, seeing how they worked. This track will help you understand the fundamentals of front end development, and get you on your way. You should have a look at the workshops for CSS. There's some pretty cool things. The CSS tool tips one I even made my own an put it on GitHub. I watched it once, then a week later made the GitHub repo in an hour. Was a very cool effect!

Have a try and if you find it too easy, move on to the next bit. You will become a good developer, and learn as long as you;re committed and always willing to learn. If you see something online, inspect the code and see how it works.

If I remember correctly there's also a short course on Chrome Dev Tools. Watch this and you'll become a god in no time. You'll be able to inspect code and troubleshoot issue quicker than most!

Good luck in your career my friend. Visit my site (link is on my profile) and drop me an email if you need anything!

Kind regards, Ash
