Quick shoutout: Designmodo just released their much anticipated Startup Design Framework

I hope someone might find this helpful in one way or the other. Check out the Startup Design Framework http://designmodo.com/startup.

I took a quick look at this it looks like it's a theme for Twitter Bootstrap. Each design element in Twitter bootstrap has some LESS to theme it and a layer-ed PSD, it's licensed at $249 per site.

Had a look at it myself earlier. It sounded very interesting. But as James said its really just a UI kit + 25 pre made templates. The license is boasted as a developer license but you need a separate license per site. Calling it a framework is a big stretch. Nice idea but it isn't anything you cannot get off other websites for free or cheaper from marketplaces like Themeforest or Creative. Also if you follow the right courses on treehouse you can build your own quite easily.

Hey James Barnett & Robert Newman, I must have added my to tuppence on the kit. So, here it is - First, I think the whole kit is awesome. Second, I think the price is hyped. But after giving it some thoughts, I think the price is right. This is because the kit's target market is for people who want to create a website for their startups not spending much time on it. Well, I have the time for mine! (So I'm not the right target) And btw I posted this here hoping someone might find good use of it - a couple sure did.

Cheers James & Rob :)

Update: You don't need to buy a license per every site. One license caters for any of your personal or commercial project.
