Quiz / Challenges - Cannot complete them on an iPad mini

Just a bug report, you cannot complete Quizzes or Code Challenges on an iPad mini. I'm not sure if this affects other devices (Android, Windows, etc.) but I verified with a couple quizzes and challenges using my iPhone, iPad and iPad mini. The only devicethat acts up is the mini.

Each task can be completed and you can proceed to the next step. However, when you complete the final task, normally a modal box shows up on your screen and you need to dismiss it via a button. On an iPad mini, these modals do not show up on the screen (in either orientation). They do however appear to be active as you cannot dismiss or click any elements present on the screen, the only option would be to refresh the page or close the tab.

Have you tried a different browser, besides the stock one?

Maybe Mercury browser (a customized version of Safari for iPad) or mobile Firefox or even mobile Opera.

I'm a stubborn Safari user, not that it's a big deal. I just wrote this up as more of a bug report for the team to look into some day down the road.

Without digging into it too much, it'll just be something to do with the viewport and the responsive css design they are using for modals.

Hey Mike, thanks for letting us know about this. We've checked a few iPad Minis and didn't see a problem with any of them, though.

If you keep having troubles with it, like James said, shoot an email to support at help@teamtreehouse.com.
