Quotes challenge task

Hello,

I'm stuck on this chalenge task. I cannot find what is wrong with my code. Any help would be much appreciated.

The chalenge says "Now it's time to display a quote from our 'quotes' array in the 'quoteLabel'. Assign the second item from the 'quotes' array to the text property of the 'quoteLabel'. Hint: use the 'objectAtIndex' method."

Here's my code:

@implementation THViewController

- (void)viewDidLoad {
    [super viewDidLoad];

    // Add your code below!
    // Remember the array property is called 'quotes'
    // And the label property is called 'quoteLabel'

    self.quotes = [[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects:@"Haters gonna hate",
    @"Life is simple, not easy",
    @"Winners never quit, quitters never win", nil];

}

- (IBAction)buttonPressed {

    self.quoteLabel.text = [self.quotes objectAtIndex:1];

}
@end

When I run my code the compiler says "Bummer! The method for 'objectAtIndex' was not called."

Here's the link for the chalenge: link

Thanks Liam

So the correct answer is:

@implementation THViewController

- (void)viewDidLoad {
    [super viewDidLoad];

    // Add your code below!
    // Remember the array property is called 'quotes'
    // And the label property is called 'quoteLabel'

    self.quotes = [[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects:@"Haters gonna hate",
    @"Life is simple, not easy",
    @"Winners never quit, quitters never win", nil];

    self.quoteLabel.text = self.quotes[1];

}

@end

You don't need the buttonPressed method. Put the following line at the bottom of your viewDidLoad method.

self.quoteLabel.text = self.quotes[1];

Thanks very much, that work. The only other thing that I did wrong was I did not have that piece of code that you posted I did not have inside the curly braket.

Thank you very much for your help with this challenge.

No problem, glad to help.

cheers
