refference error

Imagine you have 10 <div> tags on a web page. Each div is 190 pixels wide. Using the two variables in this script, create a new variable named totalWidth that multiplies the width by the numOfDivs variable. Because the width variable is a string, you'll need to use a JavaScript function to retrieve the number value...... i try at least 10 times and every time got an error...

app.js
var width ='190px';
var numOfDivs = 10;
var totalWidth = parseint(width) * numOfDivs;
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
<body>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

The error is stating that it can't determine what parseint is supposed to refer to, this is due to the fact that the function you are trying to use is actually called parseInt not parseint, notice that the i in Int is supposed to be capitalized.

If you spell the function name properly like this:

var width ='190px';
var numOfDivs = 10;
var totalWidth = parseInt(width) * numOfDivs;

Then the code will work.
