Regarding the normalize file. Do we need it?

The reason I ask is because I read somewhere in the forum that the video is version 1 but now there's a version 4? Therefore, where can I find version 4? And does * {} do the same thing as the normalize file? Just curios

Hey Charlie,

I'd recommend using some form of normalizer. You can get the latest version of Normalize here or if you're using npm, you can install via npm install normalize.css.

* is a global selector and by default does nothing. However, you can use it to alter the styling of all elements. For example, if you want to change the box-sizing of all HTML elements:

* {
    -moz-box-sizing: border-box;
    -webkit-box-sizing: border-box;
    box-sizing: border-box;
}

Normalize does a whole lot more. An overview can be found here.
