Relative Length Units: Challenge

Hey Guys

I'm stuck on the Code Challenge: Relative Length Units 3rd Question

"Select the link with the class 'more'. Using the rem unit, set its font size back to the base font size of the root html element."

  • I've read all the other posts by people and It' still not working for me :/ for some reason

Here is what I have so far:

/* Write your CSS code below */

h1 { font-size:2.5em; }
p { font-size:1.5em; )

.more { font-size:1rem;  }

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

I tested the code challenge and all worked well with those answers. Can you please post the hint or error message its giving you?

Thanks!

Vlad Kitanoski,

Ah, see, I didn't even catch that in your code example. Oh the little things :)

Keep it up, Vlad!

Guil Hernandez - I have now learned that it's always the little things haha I kept on trying to solve my error in my dream lol thanks again, the videos are awesome!

You have a parenthesis instead of a curly brace on the p declaration block. I think that might be the problem.

I can't remember the HTML code, but you probably don't need the a in the selector, .more will do just fine and the selector won't be too restrictive.

Oh God! Haha I knew it was something as stupid :P I feel like a fool lol serves me right for trying to finish it while I was half asleep lol

THANK YOU! :P

Hahaha yeah, don't worry, it happens all the time, at least to me! If something should be working, it's probably some silly mistake like this :)

Hi, maybe you should try:

li .more{font-size:1rem;}

??

the selector for links with class more is written:

a.more

so your answer would be:

a.more { font-size:1rem; }

Thanks everyone for all your help! Much appreciated :-)
