//Get the first ul tag at [0] index because getElementsByTagName returns a collection
let myList = document.getElementsByTagName("ul")[0];
//Grab the first list item by accessing via Id (Each list item has a different Id)
let firstListItem = document.getElementById("first");
//use the removeChild method, passing in the item you want to remove from the parent (ul)
myList.removeChild(firstListItem);

Hey @Abson Chifodya, I think this is the solution you are looking for.

const ul = document.querySelector('ul');
const firstListItem = ul.children[0];

ul.removeChild(firstListItem);
