Reopening Android Studio in Linux

Hi, how do I reopen Android Studio on my Linux machine after installing it? I installed Android Studio the other day and then shut the machine. Do I again need to extract tar.gz and run ./studio.sh every time or is there a short-cut available?

You should go: cd ~/folder/you/extracted Android Studio to/bin;./studio.sh

This is the first time I'm using this forum, so don't know if this is how to answer a question or not. Not a whole lotta time to figure it out...
