Hey guys,
I'm planning to dig more deeply into learning here at Treehouse. But I have a question regarding my hardware. I want to make my educational process as much comfortable as possible, so I'm thinking really seriously of buying a new computer. Desktop computer. But since computers these days are quite pricy, i want your opinion guys as mates - DO I REALLY NEED IT, or it is just better of without it, keeping whatever i have for now? BTW Currently, I'm using MacBook Pro Mid-2010. But it doesn't have retina and i'm kind of tired looking down all day, so at the end of the day my eyes and neck are giving me hard time. Need advice. Do or do not. Thanks.

Personally I have an iMac (1.5 years old), but honestly, pretty much all of the learning I do on Treehouse is on my MacBook that is 14 (Yes, FOURTEEN) years old. Right now I personally see no need to replace my laptop (soon, probably very soon), but for now it's good enough.
My thoughts are... if it works and does the job, why replace. Have fun with your coding. :)

202 PointsHi Pavelz, I strongly agree with Mitchell here that you do not need a new macbook pro. Retina only provide a better visuals on your screen and nothing else if you are looking to code. I would consider going Retina if you are more into design since I think it helps.
Although, if you got cash to spare then go for it. I just got my Retina MBP early this year and, yes, I can say it helps my eyes.
