Retrieving a Result Set (Challenge)

I'm doing exactly like the video : 

SELECT movies.year. movies.title FROM movies;

or

SELECT year. title FROM movies;

Neither work... The first one gives me "SQL Error: no such column: movies.year.movies" and the second one gives me "SQL Error: no such column: year.title"

I figured it out. It worked by using

SELECT year, title FROM movies;

Is the comma the new way to do it? In the video, the teacher uses periods between year and title.
