22,984 Pointsscript.js is running as expected but nothing is happening right now because within your js file you've declared a function, but you haven't actually called it yet. Here's an example of how you would call getYear() and display the value of year in an alert box:
function getYear() {
var year = new Date().getFullYear();
//Displays an alert box containing the value of 'year'
alert(year);
}
//Calls the function
getYear();
