Python Python Collections (2016, retired 2019) Slices Slice Functions

reverse evens list ... i am not getting it right ... however when i do locally on python idle .. i find that i get it ri

please fid where i am getting it wrong

slices.py
def first_4(items):
    return items[0:4]

def first_and_last_4(items):
    return items[0:4] + items[-4:]

def odds(items):
    return items[1::2]

def reverse_evens(items):
    ri = items[2::2]
    return ri[::-1]

goods=['msumari','bati','pin','ceramic','msouth','elly','nyau']

items=goods[:]
first4 = first_4(items)
last4 = first_and_last_4(items)
oddn = odds(items)
rit = reverse_evens(items)

print(first4)
print(last4)
print(oddn)
print(rit)

You got it! Just a minor typo or oversight in the reverse_evens function. The slice index should start at 0 (i.e., items[ : : 2]) instead of 2.
