root relative paths

it says that i have to set it to portfolio but it's already set

The link to portfolio is to an element with that id on the same page. You need to use #portfolio for that instead of ../portfolio which be looking for a file in a parent directory.

Linking to an id on the same page wouldn't send you to a different website, it would just make your browser scroll to that spot on the website you're already on.
