Question: Open a scope for <ul> element with an id "menu". Inside that, open a scope on a <li> element. Using Sass nesting, add a media query so that the <li> elements will have an attribute of text-align: center when the media is screen and the <li> has a max-width of 500px.
I'm not sure where I made a mistake, I'm stuck... here's how I did it.

Courses Plus Student 16,352 PointsHi Ken,
You're code is really close to being good. The problem is with the ul
and #menu
selectors. A space between them is an explicit descendant selector. You're trying to select an element with an id of menu that's a child of a ul
. What you want is to select a ul
that also has an id of menu.
Please let me know if I can explain this better - I'm deliberately trying to avoid providing a direct answer.
Kind Regards
Jonny Strange
6,412 PointsI've to agree with Robert, the space between the ul and #menu is an explicit descendant selctor.
