CSS Sass Basics (retired) Getting Started with Sass Installing and Using Sass

Sass --watch doesn't work on windows 8.1 64-bit OS

I am using windows 8.1 64-bit and i have successfully installed Ruby and Sass. The problem is after typing sass --watch, i get a feedback that sass is watching but anytime I update my .scss file, the related css file doesn't auto update unless i terminate the whole watch process and enter the command again. Really need a work around, please help.

It works for me. You have to properly install ruby on rails first. sass is a ruby gem.

After that it should work. Then follow the commandlines.

Thanks very much. It now works fine
