Error: There is no resource associated with id: 10. Note: setText(int) is not the same as setText(String).

        super.onSaveInstanceState(outState);

        outState.putInt(KEY_USERENTRY, 10);

    }

    @Override
    protected void onRestoreInstanceState(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onRestoreInstanceState(savedInstanceState);

        mTextView.setText(savedInstanceState.getInt(KEY_USERENTRY));

Ah my bad,

mTextView.setText(savedInstanceState.getInt(KEY_USERENTRY) + "")

We have to put the + "" outside the getInt() method. The getInt() method will only take in a key value and then we covert it to a string afterwards

Hey House,

From the looks of it, your problem is that you are trying to set an int value as the mTextView text. Therefore just add + "" after KEY_USERENTRY and thisll convert the int to a string. Then I believe it should work

Thanks for your reply. I tried what you suggested, but got another error.

"Remember to provide the key to the getInt method."
