Scaffolding or Cutting Mooseturds

Basic Pedagogy: 1) I do 2) We do 3) You do

The instructor, "I", has done an example. Now it's time for us, "we", to do one together. The objectives are guided practice. I need some guidance. It's tedious and inconvenient to query the ether every time I get stuck on a task. I'd rather access references than wait on somebody to answer my every question. I get stuck on each objective for the jQuery project and I'm annoyed with the 'start discussion' method. It strikes me as lazy, something I'd have a hard time finding patience for in even a free app. I've also read in forum posts that many find the jQuery project doesn't cut the mooseturd. We've surpassed my pain threshold. Please take action.

I too struggled with the teaching method in the jQuery class but the other classes have been structured well.
