adding .col div doesn't work

The and keyword should be between the media type and the expression.

@media screen and (min-width: 481px) { }

Hi Chiemeka,

Your col classes have no content in them so there isn't anything to see float left.

Try wrapping the text you have in the div with paragraph tags.
