self.parent.frame.size.width returns nothing?

self.parent.frame.size.width returns zero for some reason any ideas?

Strange but I called moveTowardsPosition before adding the projectile to the scene.

Solved with below the correct way round.

  [self addChild:projectile];
    [projectile moveTowardsPosition:position];
