Set the color of paragraphs to black using hexadecimal value?

so, the challenge says "Set the color of paragraphs to black using hexadecimal value"

I put

p { color: #000000; }

And still did not work! "background-color:" does not work either so please don't suggest it :)

Hi Jesse,

There's nothing wrong with your paragraph rule.

The problem is with your previous h1, h2 rule. You closed it off with a left curly brace instead of a right curly brace. This ends up causing the browser to discard your paragraph rule as it tries to recover from this error.
