I've really found using a good Python cheat sheet very helpful to have to hand to quickly help my remember syntax, particular methods etc...
This is a good one I found (not by me): https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0ByIrJAE4KMTtaGhRcXkxNHhmY2M
Does anyone else find using cheat sheets useful? (share your examples here as it's always good to see different summaries)

Treehouse Guest TeacherI find Dash to be really useful (when I can remember to use it). Mostly, though, I use the official documentation and the help() and dir() functions.

4,757 PointsHello!
Indeed you can't be expected to know by heart all the libraries, methods, functions... unless you reach Guido-level (you are expected to know everything there is to know on Python at that level :) ).
And to extend a bit the question, are cookbooks useful (for example O'Reilly's Python Cookbook)? Cheat-sheets for newbies and cookbooks for veterans?
Very interested in the forum's take on this!
Cheers,

14,136 PointsThanks, yes I would be interested in hearing thoughts about cookbooks too (and have been interested in the particular book you mentioned).
