16,365 PointsI like the minimalism, and the javascript scroll function. in IE10 there are some display issues with the my projects section.

Courses Plus Student 2,360 PointsThanks. Yes, I used flexbox to display my projects. It is not well supported by IE10 and maybe i shouldve used an ul, but on the other hand, who uses (in my target group) < IE11.
Your site is very minimalistic too! I further noticed on your site that the navigation bar on the left changes width while using the navigation-links. I personally dislike the bouncing effect, I would much rather see it sliding in with a bit of easing.

Brodie Capel
16,365 PointsThanks, yea I considered a simple easing but I wanted to experiment with jQuery UI on the portfolio section (which should be up in a couple of days) so I figured I should try to use some of the alternate easing options is provides.
as for IE 10... I agree.... I only use IE for testing purposes .... but at the moment im at my weekend job (which has a very restrictive IT policy ) and its the only browser available.

16,365 PointsI like the direction (looks like we had the same idea with the circular profile pic) interested to see the portfolio fill out and the blog (the two things I'm adding to my site this week too.) if you want a more measurable way to showcase your skill levels check out elance's skill tests.... even if you are not planning to use it to get work its a nice way to show where you stand in comparison to other freelancers (I was pretty happy to score in the top 10% for a couple of topics)

43,038 PointsInteresting, is are the Elance tests free?
For my skills section, I was using a relative scale based on what I considered my strongest skill to be. However I have been working a lot with JS lately, so it is a bit out of date now :P

Brodie Capel
16,365 Pointsyea completely free.... that's why its so good, I saw someone else use it on there site so I decided to do some of the tests... did better than I was expecting... trying to come up with a way to integrate them into my site without sounding too full of myself

13,023 PointsMine is still a work in process and is going to me a mix of portfolio site and side business which I will be running with a few friends. The individual portfolio item page is far from done but I would love some feedback on the site.
I built it with PHP at first then converted it to the Python framework flask (which it is now). The front end is just HTML and CSS for now fancier stuff to come.
Great to see everyone's projects!
