Hi Mackenzie Kirkham, You can be on track of Swift 2.0, if you want to ship your first iOS app to App store. There's no bad on learning iOS Development by starting from Swift. Yeah, That's correct, Objective-C is more helpful when you want to create more professional apps. And If you learn Objective-C at first, It can help you understand swift more easily and be better at it. But Swift still has many benefits over Objective-C, such as - It requires less code.

Best.

thank you!

There is now a great course to introduce Objective-C to those who learn Swift first. So be sure to check that out once you have finished your Swift 2.0 track. It will be very helpful for you when you are using libraries and frameworks that have not been published in Swift. :)
