Hmmmm the creatives in my studio are getting overly excited - as the developer not so much so.
What do people think?

Not sure about its limitations though.

13,160 PointsThere have always been some sort of DIY web development platforms out there. I think as long there are customers with specific needs that are 'outside-the-box' we as web developers will always have work to do.
--Just my opinion--
If the site is something that can easily be created using a fancy WYSIWYG or through a basic framework like WordPress or Joomla using a downloaded template, then it wouldn't be anything lost to us as developers. The amount of profit on those sites often times doesn't seem worth it and I tend to pass them off to some local interns or start-up freelancers. The custom web applications and development is where the future of our trade has been and will always be.

13,627 PointsI see what you mean and I totally agree. I'm a start-up freelancer though so I'm the guy you dump those easy websites onto :) Haven't ventured far enough into the realms of custom web applications yet!
Also from what I can see Webydo is "cuts out" pretty much just the photoshop design to html/css stage of building a website, it probably has trouble with javascript (just my opinion though, not really an expert on this!)
