C# C# Objects Inheritance Catching Exceptions

Shouldn't System.Exception be a "catch all"? This test is saying that only System.Exception can be caught by

System.Exception. The quiz is saying if the exception thrown is too specific then System.Exception wont catch it.

The only questions I saw where the exception is not caught at all did not have catch for System.Exception.

You're right that it would typically serve as a "catch all", but only if it part of the "catch" chain.

Oh, since "OutOfBoundsException" is derived from "TreehouseDefenseException", then that catch will handle the throw before it reaches the "catch all". The "System.Exception" would catch it only if no other catch placed before it handled the event.

Ohhhh. Ok thanks.
