Show & Tell!

Hey fellow Treehousers!

I've been using this site for a few months so I thought I'd share what I've done so far. Doing this whilst working full-time has been tricky to say the least so the other day I decided the best way to learn was to create really simple things and get into the habit of coding.

I've gained a working knowledge in PHP, Javascript and Wordpress (as well as HTML and CSS) through the tracks so it's given me a general overview which I find is helping me link the dots the more I code.

You can find my stuff over at carlmungazi.com but I wanted to share the following Treehouse specific goodies:

  1. To-do list written in JS with no jQuery - http://carlmungazi.com/todo-list/index.html
  2. Geolocation web app - http://carlmungazi.com/geolocation/index.html

Another thing I've done is write the front-end code for this PHP-based news aggregator I co-developed with a friend - http://digesteast.com. Funnily enough, this was my first foray into coding and it gave me plenty of sleepless nights!

I'm at the stage now where I need to move my playground code over to a framework to help with organization and general coding ease so I'll be looking to do that pretty soon.
