Showing Toast on MainActivity

suppose if we have given wrong longitude or latitude then the response will be unsuccessful and if we want to show a Toast message instead of showing a dialog in MainActivity, then should we have to mention that Toast in runOnUiMethod in the else block of onResponse() because we are currently on background thread???

Hey,

Yes you are right about placing the Toast method in the runOnUiMethod, because any (ANY) UI updates must happen in the Main Thread (UI thread). If you don't, your app will crash.

cool thanks
