Since the style property is repeated in the background and color assignments, can it be added to the myDiv var?

Can we code the script as follows?

var myDiv = document.getElementByID("myDiv").style;

myDiv.background = #000; myDiv.color = #fff;

Does JavaScript have a "with" keyword like Visual Basic? E.g.

With myObject .property1 = value x = .methodA() .property2 = value

You can do this:

var myDiv = document.getElementByID("myDiv").style;

myDiv.background = #000; 

myDiv.color = #fff;

The with statement exists but is considered dangerous
