Single versus double quotations

In the example of importing the CSS into the style.css stylesheet, the first import statement had double-quotes for the path...and the other three had single-quotes for the paths. Is that distinction necessary? Accurate?

Why?

Hi Aaron,

Thats a tough question. Friendships were broken, families were split and civil wars broke out over disagreement about this.

I am kidding of course. This is just a matter of preference. Both are absolutely valid syntax. It's good that you noticed the inconsistency in the usage. No matter what you choose to use, just be consistent in it.

This reminds me of the classic tabs vs spaces discussion; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsoOG6ZeyUI

Thanks Lee! Your candor and your humor are both greatly appreciated.

Thank you also for the link to the discussion re: tabs v. Spaces. ... I "literally" about died! "LITERALLY"
