CSS

Site a bit too small

HI,

So, i was developing a site, and like sometiems happend, i had a zoom on my browser 125%. The site looked great! But on 100% ( normal ) , the fonts and everything is too small. Is there a way i can make everything by 25% bigger? in CSS?

Hi Konrad!

I am not sure about a way to make everything 25% bigger in CSS but if I were you I would, instead of doing that, just alter the values for each element and try to find out the perfect size for each value and then this then allows you to have more control over each element.

HI,

Well, uh , thats what i didnt want to do xdd but well, i believe, im just gonna have to do it . Well, thank you!

It should all be easy enough and it shouldn't take too long! Good luck with your site.

Well, still, the most boring part in the web history, changing value to a bigger one xd and counting each value 25% and then add it : p

Thank you.

I know you mentioned this down below but make sure to set your zoom to 100% on your browser before you start designing your site! It will save you a lot of time in the long run.

In case your font sizes are em based you can change (or define) the font size value of the body tag.

Its not about only fonts , but the height as well, e.g a height of a bar is 50px : p etc.. i tried thath one allready but um ;/

Yes of course, so all margin, padding etc are also too small. bummer. Well I'm sure it will not happen again :)

xd , its my second time, although the first time was around 9 months ago when i had site 50%+ and it wasnt pleasant : p

TIP 1: Allways check your zoom when you start to develop :D saves extra work.

... and check the work on multiple browsers will also prevent this happening again.
