1,097 PointsSkilled app developer without any degree?
6 months ago I didn´t know anything about app developing. But after learning about it online, I have now an app out on the App Store. I think the app is really good, but is this app alone reason to call my self a skilled app developer? I would appreciate if anyone here took the time to check it out, preferably anyone who likes football/soccer, seeing that is what the game is about. I feel I am pretty good at developing apps, but seeing as I have no real degree, can I call myself a skilled app developer? Is this something I could put on my resume for example?

3,534 PointsShort answer to your question: Yes. Yes you can.
I believe that you can call yourself a skilled app developer. You may not have the skills to create an insanely popular polished app, but one day you will. You have "skill" but it may just not be as sharp as others and it definitely will be a lot sharper 6 months from now.
I looked at your app (but didn't play it :c; I don't know ANYTHING about football), and it looks pretty awesome. I even saw that you have GameCenter built into it and I think that's pretty amazing for a simple little game like this. I've built a few small apps as well (never published them to the App Store because I don't want to throw that torture onto someone), and I would say this has more complexity than those.
Keep up the awesome work!!
