file in your <link>
element.
I'd suggest you read up on how file paths work.

4,354 PointsAre you trying this on your own text editor? More details are needed, maybe post code using the Markdown Cheatsheet rules using the three backtics at the start and after the end of your code, that may help.

4,354 PointsThank you for your post with the code, do you have more code above this like the <html> <head></head><body>
?
This is the head section of code I worked up on my personal computer from these excercises:
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>
<title>Smells Like Bakin' Cupcake Company</title>
<link href="normalize.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<link href="grid.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Nunito' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
<link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
</head>
You need to check to see where grid.css file is saved on your computer. Make sure that the grid.css file is saved in the same folder as your index.html file, otherwise you will need to add the appropriate path before grid.css. All of your HTML markup looks good, so I don't think the issue is there... it will either be in your CSS, or the link to your CSS. I hope this helps, if you need more info, be sure to ask!! :)
