Ruby

So I have this app

I've built in Ruby or will as soon as I'm happy with it. However, I'd like to find a way to Rails-ify it to make it more web friendly.

Are there people here that will help with this? Suggest after reviewing this app where the classes would fall and how to change the input/output methods to be rails friendly? I'm thinking I'm in a bit over my head here and would like a hand.

TIA (thanks in advance)

Also, where's my python course? :P

Hey Michael Nickey! That may be a tall request for the forums. A better approach might be to take a stab at it and then post questions when you run into specific issues. Remember, Rails is not really that scary, especially if you are already proficient in Ruby.

I can see from your profile that you have started to get rolling with some of the Rails courses. Take some time and just watch through the first part of the Odot series on building an app in Rails 4. It will introduce you to most of the core concepts of Rails. I also suggest reading through the Rails Guides if you have not yet had the opportunity. They are an indispensable resource! http://guides.rubyonrails.org/

Lastly, you are always welcome to post any question. I make these suggestions as most other posters seem to prefer to tackle manageable questions with clear answers. Big, sweeping questions like "How should I build this?" seem to get fewer replies. Keep in mind, most of us on the forums are just like you; Somewhere along the path to learning Rails and hesitant to give a wrong answer. That said, tag me if you want when you make the post and I'll do my best, even if it's just to provide moral support while we both scratch our heads. :)

...and who needs Python when we've got Rails! J/k, I would enjoy some Python/Django info as well. :)
