Solution for code challenge

Is my code incomplete? Do I need to check the status of all other errors?

app.js
var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhr.onreadystatechange = function() {
if (xhr.readyState === 4 && status === 200)
};
xhr.open('GET', 'sidebar.html');
xhr.send();
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
  <meta charset="utf-8">
  <title>AJAX with JavaScript</title>
  <script src="app.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
  <div id="main">
    <h1>AJAX!</h1>
  </div>
  <div id="sidebar"></div>
</body>
</html>

Karan;

Yes, it is not complete. You need to include {} at the end of your if statement line, to include a place for what happens if your conditional returns true. Something along the lines of:

if (conditionalStatement) {
   //do something amazing in here
}

For Task 1 we aren't yet told what amazing thing we want to do, so we can leave it blank.

Happy coding and Happy Holidays,

Ken

Thank you. Got confused with that. Also typed in status instead of xhr.status. Happy holidays to you too.
