iOS Swift Functions and Optionals Functions Syntax and Parameters

Somebody could help me, i can't resolve this.

???

parameters.swift
func greeting(Tom: String) {
    println("Hello \(Tom)")
}
greeting()

Hey Stanila, your function looks good, so now, the challenge is asking you to call "Tom", pass it the string.... so, it should be :

func greeting(Tom: String) {

println("Hello (person)") }

greeting("Tom") <------ this is where you pass it

You need to use the parameter "person". The final solution should look like this:

func greeting(person: String) {
    println("Hello \(person)")
}
greeting("Tom")

Thanks Kyle, mine finally worked with:

func greeting(#person: String) {

    println("Hello \(person)")
}

greeting(person: "Jerry")
