18,872 PointsYou have to pass the sort method a function that acts as a comparison. Since you're sorting on length of each item in the array, something like this should work:
saying2.sort (function(a, b) {
return a.length - b.length
});
'a' and 'b' are elements in the array that are automatically filled in by the sort method.
