Spreadsheets Basics - Expenses

This quiz question #1 says "The total dollar value of the expenses is $_____"

I used =SUM(B3:B176) and the result was $22,620.00. Is this not correct? I typed into the answer field as 22620 and 22,620 but is still not correct. Please help me understand this.

Your formula looks good, but that's certainly not the correct answer. In fact, it's more than double the actual total.

I'd try getting a fresh copy of the original sheet, and plugging your formula in again.

Okay, I was wondering if it could have been a corrupted file or such! Thank you!
