# squaring

def square(number): return number * 2

can anybody give me a feedback where is my mistake? in the above code?

squaring.py
```def square(number):
return number * 2
```

As the instructions say, "A square is the value multiplied by itself". This code just multiplies the number by 2 (so it doubles the number instead of squaring it).

Thank you, I apreciate your answer!

```def square(number):
return number * number
result = square(3)
print(result)
```
