Set the background of the <a> tag to be a 10% desaturated version of the variable, using the desaturate function. (HINT: desaturate works a lot like the lighten function - taking a color, then a percentage!)

Courses Plus Student 40,065 PointsHi Mutgani,
You just need to put background inside the selector a
without $ symbol ($background), and also put $complement variable on the first line, not bottom.
Open a scope for <a> tags and make their color 5% lighter than the standard red.
a{
color: lighten(red, 5%);
}
Set a variable named $complement to be the complement of the standard red.
$complement: complement(red);
Set the background of the <a> tag to be a 10% desaturated version of the variable, using the desaturate function. (HINT: desaturate works a lot like the lighten function - taking a color, then a percentage!)
/* Write your SCSS code below. */
$complement: complement(red);
a{
color: lighten(red, 5%);
background: desaturate($complement, 10%);
}
Hope that helps :-)
