When you have a new idea and you want to create everything yourself.. which project should you start on first, a website or a mobile app? does the order even matter?

1,896 PointsIt largely depends on what function your idea performs and what is the best use case for your idea to be successful. So for example, if your idea involves cataloging things you do while you're out and about, then maybe a mobile app is the best place to start. If your idea requires a lot of screen real estate for it's core functions, a website might be a better place to start. Most ideas would benefit from having both a website and mobile app. Deciding where to start largely depends on what your primary goals are.

28,149 PointsIt depends on what the idea is. If it's some sort of social media, I'd think a website would be better, and than the mobile app after it. If it's some sort of game, maybe a mobile app, and than see if you can build it to run in the browser as well after that.
Just depends on the idea, but I think it should be pretty apparent with what to start with.
