Hi everyone, I started taking courses a week ago. I do feel that I am actually understanding coding (HTML, CSS) but I still feel a little lost. I'm taking all the quizzes and challenges. Before this I knew absolutely nothing about coding, did anyone else started just like me and now is a pro? Or at least do you feel you are creating awesome sites and knew nothing at the beginning....

Everyone who you would consider a 'pro' has gone through the beginner stage - It's an impossible step to skip :-)

Practice practice practice!

When I find it too much, I just remember that none of the basics really change. So once you've got something in your head, you've got it forever. As long as you don't forget it... Or it does change...

Hello Eduardo,

At Treehouse, we now have Forum Contests. Participating in these contests is a great way to get involved, collaborate and learn by sharing your code/design and seeing what other students having created.

If you're not comfortable entering a contest right now, I would still recommend seeing the entries made by other students. The current contest involves building an analog clock using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You can find it here.

I hope this helps.
