Status not appearing on the profile page

I'm not sure but for some reason my profile page is not showing up the statuses... followed the video pretty closely

From what I can tell in the show.html.erb...

<div class="page-header"> <h1><%= @user.full_name %></h1> </div>

The user instance is recognized but the status instance is not. but I'm not sure how to trouble shoot this..

There are a few things wrong here. First one: in the profiles controller you are rendering the show template first and THEN instantiate the @statuses variable. You have to switch the order. This probably won't fix it, but it's a start.

I have the same issue. Did anyone found a solution to the problem ?
