Still fairly confused as to where I'm supposed to check, send to contacts and so on

I have become familiar with the Mail Chimp web app and finding my way around, looking at contacts and so on but I'm still fairly confused as to where I'm actually supposed to write requests that send to contacts.

If anyone can help me with how they took the video in their own contaxt and what they did on their own accord via the intsructions that would help me massively, thank you.
