3,244 PointsStoryboard with a tab bar controller I keep getting a black screen on the iPhone 6 simulator - I am stuck: HELP!!!!
I followed all the directions to start the (Build a Self-Destructing Message iPhone App). I am using OS X.X, and my X-CODE version is the latest release. I tested all the simulators (5s - 6 Plus), however the screen is Black and not as per video example. Also, I had to install the empty application template (as per directions) - The template is not exactly the same as the one shown on the video.
I greatly appreciate the help. Because, I am stuck and cannot move on. I wish that Teamtreehouse updates the videos to keep up with the latest X-CODE or post solutions and files to keep the users from getting highly frustrated.
Thank you!

3,244 PointsHow do I post a picture here? I tried dragging the image directly to the form and it shows the directory rather than the image. Is there a short code for posting an image in the forums?

3,244 PointsI'm sorry for the late response, but the problem trying to connect the main storyboard with the main storyboard. My version of Xcode (6.1) is newer so they eliminated the option of doing that.

16,771 PointsYou use three backticks (```) followed by the language that you're coding in. Then you insert your code and close with another set of three backticks.
There's a link below called "Markdown Cheatsheet" that takes you to custom formats that you can write your comments in.
