iOS Swift 2.0 Basics Swift Types Recap: Swift Types

string interpolation doesn't work - invalid escape character

when switching to the debugger mode, i am told that i've used invalid escape characters. i unterstand the error message in a way that swift isn't too happy about using backslashes. unfortunately i have no clue what's wrong with it and what to use instead...

any ideas?

types.swift
// Enter your code below

let firstValue = 2
let secondValue = 5

let product = firstValue * secondValue

let output = "The product of (\firstValue) times (\secondValue) is (\product)"

It should be

"\(...)"

not

"(\..)"

edit: formatting.

Ouch! so true... couldn't see it anymore after staring for ages on the same screen...

thank you!!
